Energy tax credit for certain window treatments

We have all heard about the federal tax credit for certain energy efficient products. Usually, we relate the energy tax credit to appliances or new windows. However, for those of you thinking of giving your home interior a face lift, this tax credit includes many window treatments as well. The credit is 30% of the purchase price, or $1500 for products purchased and installed before December 31, 2010. Numerous products qualify for this tax credit, including many from Hunter Douglas. The showroom designers can provide you with the qualifying products as well as help you add personality to your space.
