The Window Treatment Showplace has partnered with local painting professionals Amiel and Stephanie Mesner to offer our customers a full line of painting services including faux painting and mural art.
We want our clients to love the feel of their home. Some imagine an earthy, Arts and Crafts style and others prefer contemporary elegance. During our consultation on faux painting, we consider not only the physical elements, such as lighting, flooring and scale, but the homeowner's vision as well, which is why our work is thoughtfully customized in order to compliment, or transform, the environment.
All of our faux finishes consist of 2 to 3 layers applied in a variety of ways to achieve subtly differing textures, with each one lending a different feel. The traditional faux finishes, such as marbling and wood-graining are just a few of the possibilities, in addition to glazing, subtractive sponging, color washing, combing, rag rolling, "raw silk" and patterned stencil "damask" finishes.
